The wedding planning is underway and it is our goal to provide helpful details upfront to assist in having an easy, stress free booking process. We are all about efficiency, transparency, and mutual communication.
When it comes to hiring and training qualified artists & Estheticians, Melody has very high standards and only wants the best of the best for her clients. With that being said, Melody Sopa Artistry has very limited availability. We often have brides reaching out for the same date, at the same time, so we ask for open communication, even if we aren’t the right fit, so everyones time can be respected.

The Wedding Morning
This is Melody speaking here: My intention is for my team to be more than just makeup artists. We create a spa experience by setting up away from the hustle and bustle of the group/ hair stylist with a professional mobile makeup studio to create a calming, zen experience the morning of.
We call it an "Adult Timeout!" We even play specific music to calm your nervous systems…
Brides and their group love having chill time before all the fun begins and this greatly helps to ease any stress or nerves.
Using all cruelty-free, non-comedogenic, fragrance-free skin care, we start the morning with "mini facials" to prep the skin so everyone feels clean, hydrated, and ready for the makeup application.
As Licensed Estheticians, we take skin health very seriously, so we only use clean products that are safe and healing for ALL skin types and conditions. This helps the skin look and feel like skin, while aiding in the longevity of the application.
The Bride only also receives hydrating/cooling hydrogel mask on the morning of. We set the bride up on a cozy couch or bed with the feet elevated, like at a spa!
We are the only Artist Team to offer this in the greater Milwaukee area!

Do you or anyone in your group have sensitive skin? Don’t worry, as Estheticians, that is our specialty!
Best part: You won't look or feel like you're caked in makeup! We want your skin to look and feel like skin. And because we start the morning with your mini-facials, the ensures a smooth, long lasting makeup application.
Because we want our clients skin to look and feel like it best, we choose to not offer airbrush makeup. We customize each persons foundation and concealer, which gives a photo filter look, without having the dryness and cakey effect airbrush makeup can give.
We work with each person in your group to customize a look they feel their best in. Not a makeup gal? Not a problem. Love makeup and want more glam? We’ve got you, too.

Parties of 6 or more will require at least 1 additional artist, per Melody's discretion. Smaller parties may also require one, depending on the schedule/timing.
This rate is per additional artist, who is also a built in assistant to me and your groups pampering.

Touch-Ups
On site, personal stylist/artist if you’d like Melody or Jill to stay with you longer then the contracted end time. So if you want your artist to be with you before and after the ceremony and photos, you would have your very open personal artist for all your beauty needs
$250/each additional hour, 2 hour minimum.

Think of this appointment like this - It's not just getting your makeup done, it's a full concierge service!
During this appointment, we are working out all the details for your bridal look AND going over all the morning of details.
Melody makes your timeline, we talk about the set up and flow on the day of and the best location to set up our mobile studio in the getting ready space, talk about family/friend dynamic to avoid drama... and so much more, all to ensure the day of goes as smoothly and stress free as possible, so she takes her time talking that out with you in person.
These are typically booked a few months or the month before the big day, simply so on the morning of, things will run more smoothly, efficiently, and it puts you more at ease. We run a well oiled machine over here and set everyone up for a successful, stress free wedding morning.
This will take place at the Melody Sopa Artistry spa in Downtown Milwaukee. If Jill is doing your wedding makeup, Melody will be there for that, too, being hands on throughout the entire process.
Your Contract
Melody will make a contract in the brides name that will include the total amount of people getting their makeup done, getting ready location, arrival and end time, and your investment.
There will be a non-refundable retainer of 1/3 of the group total to officially book the date with the signed contract.
So if the groups total is $2,500, 1/3 of that is $833.33, before any bank or credit card processing fees. The remaining is due by 60 days before the wedding. Melody will pre set up 3 payments that you can automatically pay online for your convenience.
A lot of our brides will either pay for their girls/family's makeup applications completely, or they will pay for their down payment as their wedding gift! The group always appreciates the extra help, especially when they have other expenses around the time of the wedding date.
